Isis LaRose Joins BGCCC as VP of Partnerships | Club Update

Boys & Girls Club of Collier County Welcomes Isis LaRose as Vice President of Partnerships and Strategic Relations

Boys & Girls Club of Collier County (BGCCC) today announced the appointment of Isis LaRose as Vice President of Partnerships and Strategic Relations, bringing more than two decades of experience in healthcare and nonprofit leadership to the organization.

In this role, LaRose will lead BGCCC’s strategic partnerships, community engagement efforts, and growth initiatives, working to expand access, enhance collaboration, and advance the Club’s mission across Southwest Florida.

LaRose brings more than 24 years of combined experience, with a career focused on strengthening families and building sustainable community partnerships. She began her nonprofit journey with Better Together in 2018, where she rose into executive leadership, most recently serving as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Market Development. There, she led statewide initiatives with the Department of Children and Families, school districts, hospitals, and law enforcement agencies, helping expand services to 48 counties and supporting efforts that kept more than 12,000 children out of foster care, with a 98% success rate.

“Isis understands how to bring people and organizations together around a shared purpose,” said Paul Donahue, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County. “Her experience building community support and increasing awareness around critical issues will play an important role as we continue to grow and serve more families.”

LaRose’s connection to the Boys & Girls Club mission is both professional and personal. Through her work in healthcare and the nonprofit sector, she has seen firsthand how access to safe, reliable afterschool programs helps families remain stable – giving parents the ability to work while ensuring their children are supported, engaged, and set up for long-term success.

“I’m honored to join the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County at such an important time of growth,” said LaRose. “This organization plays a crucial role in supporting families and creating opportunity, and I’m excited to help build partnerships that expand that impact to ensure more children have access to the resources they need to succeed.”

Her commitment to the community has been widely recognized, including receiving the Dean Blietz Memorial Award from the Lee County Homeless Coalition in 2018 and being named a 40 Under 40 honoree in 2023. In addition to her professional work, LaRose has served as a volunteer host family since 2017, welcoming 35 children into her home, an experience that continues to shape her leadership and dedication to service.
