Earlier Access, Greater Impact: BGCCC Now Serving Youth Ages 5 and Up
The Boys & Girls Club of Collier County (BGCCC) announced today that it has expanded eligibility and now serves youth ages 5 and up. Previously beginning at age 6, the Club’s programs are now open to younger children, allowing families to enroll their children sooner and access free, structured programming during out-of-school time.
This expansion provides earlier access to BGCCC’s academic enrichment, STEM activities, Ready Readers programming, sports, arts, and recreation across its Naples and Immokalee campuses.
“We know that the earlier we engage young people in a positive, structured environment, the stronger their foundation for long-term success,” said Paul Donahue, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County. “By serving youth starting at age five, we can begin reinforcing academic skills, building confidence, and creating meaningful mentoring relationships.”
All programs remain free of charge. Youth must enroll as Club members to participate.
BGCCC serves 4,600 children and teens annually through after-school programs and seasonal camps designed to help Club members learn, lead, and thrive. Guided by its mission to create Great Futures for local youth, the organization provides safe spaces, positive role models, and meaningful opportunities that empower young people to reach their full potential.
