Isis LaRose brings more than 24 years of combined experience in healthcare and nonprofit leadership, with a strong focus on strengthening families and building community partnerships. She began her nonprofit journey with Better Together in 2018, where she advanced into executive leadership, ultimately serving as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Market Development. In that role, she led statewide partnerships with the Department of Children and Families, school districts, hospitals, and law enforcement agencies, helping expand services to 48 counties and supporting efforts that kept more than 12,000 children out of foster care with a 98% success rate.
Isis’ connection to the Boys & Girls Club mission is deeply personal. Through her work in both the medical field and nonprofit space, she saw firsthand how access to safe, reliable afterschool programs allowed families to remain stable, giving parents the ability to work while ensuring their children were safe, supported, and on a path toward a strong future.
Her commitment to the community has been recognized through honors such as the Dean Blietz Memorial Award from the Lee County Homeless Coalition in 2018, and being named a 40 Under 40 honoree in 2023.
In addition to her professional experience, Isis has served as a volunteer host family since 2017, welcoming 35 children into her home—an experience that continues to shape her leadership and commitment to the community.
