Meet Marilyne. She is a star student at Village Oaks Elementary School in the Miracle 21st Century Community Learning After-School program. In August 2020, the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County acquired 21st Century Community Learning Center After-School Programs.
Her favorite school subjects are math and science. Her favorite activities to participate in during Miracle programming is being outside, journaling, building relationships with her classmates, and being a leader in the classroom.
Marilyne is an outstanding student during school, and a great friend to every one she meets. She steps up in leadership roles before she is even asked, is always asking how she can do more, and is a great role model to her fellow classmates. Her future goals include becoming a teacher.
She is strong-willed, humorous, and is always looking on the bright side of things. Her personality radiates through the Miracle Program.
“I love coming to Miracle programming after school. I get to spend more time with my friends, work on my homework, and my favorite part is learning more about the 7 Habits and how I can work on them for myself.”
