Boys & Girls Club of Collier County Waives Membership Fees and Provides Care Packages to Families Impacted by Government Shutdown
In response to the ongoing government shutdown and its widespread impact on local families, the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County (BGCCC) is stepping up to support the community. Effective immediately, BGCCC will waive all membership fees for both current and new members through the end of 2025.
The initiative aims to ease financial strain for families affected by the shutdown while ensuring that children continue to have access to the Club’s safe, supportive environment and essential youth development programs.
In addition to waiving membership fees, BGCCC will distribute care packages to member families, providing much-needed supplies and resources during this uncertain time.
“Our mission has always been to serve the youth and families of our community,” said Paul Donahue, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County. “We hope these efforts provide meaningful relief to families navigating this challenging period and reaffirm that the Club will always be here when our community needs us most.”
BGCCC remains committed to ensuring that every child has access to the opportunities, mentorship, and support they deserve – especially in times of need.
