Boys & Girls Club of Collier County has launched a county-wide Back 2 School School Supplies Drive to promote academic success for Naples and Immokalee students in the 2020-2021 school year.
The Club is collecting new backpacks, notebooks, writing utensils, art supplies, and other classroom items, as well as monetary donations, which will help students be better prepared for success when classes resume. This year’s drive is critically important as many parents in both Naples and Immokalee face unprecedented economic hardships caused by COVID-19.
To meet the growing needs for assistance with school supplies, Boys & Girls Club of Collier County, 105.5 The Beat, Coffee Bar 239, Walmart and OfficeMax will be hosting a Stuff the Bus event on August 29th, from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. Those wishing to donate in person can bring supplies to Coffee Bar 239 (960 Immokalee Rd, Naples), Walmart (I-75 & Immokalee Rd, Naples), or OfficeMax (5066 Airport-Pulling Rd North, Naples).
For those who wish to donate virtually, simply visit the Club’s Amazon Wish List, which allows donors to ship directly to the Club.
Individuals can also make a monetary donation for the purchase of supplies via a secure portal on the Club’s website or by texting BACK2SCHOOL2020 to 44321.
