Boys & Girls Club of Collier County is pleased to announce it has received a generous grant from the Community Foundation of Collier County. These funds will support the immediate and long-term needs of Club members and their families.

Boys & Girls Club of Collier County is committed to:

  • Getting families back to work. Our childcare allows parents to work, recoup lost income, and help our economy rebound, all the while knowing their children are safe and cared for.
  • Letting no child go hungry. Food insecurity is a real issue in our community, evidenced by the lines of cars we see whenever we offer free meal services.
  • Safety first. In May, we opened the doors of our Nichols Club in Naples and our Bolch Club in Immokalee, introducing new safety procedures including social distancing, temperature checks, the wearing of masks and numerous additional hygiene and sanitization measures.
  • Getting kids on track academically. Our staff is hard at work this summer working to catch kids up as well as preparing for the upcoming school year. Programs are offered both virtually and in-person at the Club at little to no cost to families.

“Our kids need high-quality youth development programs more than ever this summer to help get them back on track and build the skills they need to contribute to our community as productive, caring, responsible citizens,” stated Megan McCarthy Beauvais, President and Chief Executive Office, adding “Boys & Girls Club of Collier County is proud to be an anchor for the community and, now more than ever, is committed to doing whatever it takes to meet the needs of Club children and families.”

The Community Foundation of Collier County awards annual grants through a competitive application and review process. Selected organizations receive grant dollars from the Changing Needs Fund. This Fund is made up of donors who believe in the Community Foundation’s ability to identify and grant to the most community’s most current needs.
