After careful consideration and thoughtful dialogue, and in accordance with advisories issued by the Florida Departments of Education and Health, Boys & Girls Clubs of Collier County has made the difficult decision that our Clubs will be closed beginning Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20.
We do not make this decision lightly and realize the hardship that this closure causes our Club families. However, our first priority is always the health and safety of our Boys & Girls Club of Collier County family: the children, teens, volunteers and staff that are in our buildings every day. It is our obligation to do what is within our power to disrupt the transmission of the COVID-19 virus and we believe social distancing, even with the distress it will undoubtedly cause many of our families, is the only way to assist in the mitigation of this virus.
