Our Arts programs are designed to foster creativity in young people and provide outlets for self-expression. From watercolor painting to lyricism, our arts programs have something that will inspire everyone.

Dance

Encouraging Creative Expression. Building Self-Confidence

The Dance program allows members to learn various dance genres – from ballet to modern dance – with a professional dance instructor. The dance teams proudly represent our Clubs at performances throughout the community and at special Club events.

Visual Arts / National Fine Arts Show

A Canvas for Success

Through access to the arts, Boys & Girls Club of Collier County members strengthen their problem solving and critical thinking skills while exercising their creativity.

The National Fine Arts Show is a competition for Boys & Girls Club members across the country, encouraging artistic recognition of Club members ages 6 to 18 by displaying drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media and sculpture at local and regional exhibits. Members study and develop visual arts technique throughout the year and submit their best art pieces for annual competitions at the local, regional, and national levels.

Lyricism

Helping Teens Tell Their Stories

The Lyricism program is designed to cultivate and amplify the powerful voices of our Club teens. Recognizing the power of the literary arts, Lyricism gives teens an opportunity to tell their stories, build community and express their artistic visions through the music of hip-hop culture.
