Meet Lovensky, 18, a recent graduate from Mason Classical Academy. Lovensky was a Nichols Club member for 13 years. During his time at the Club he participated in various character and leadership programs such as Youth of the Year and Junior Men of Initiative.

One of Lovensky’s goals was to become Youth of the Year. In 2019, he applied for the recognition, but was not selected as an honoree. In 2020, he was named a finalist. He finally accomplished his goal and was awarded the 2021 Youth of the Year. He went on to become a state finalist, competing against other Boys & Girls Clubs’ youth across Florida. By virtue of winning Youth of the Year for the Collier Club, Lovensky has earned a college scholarship.

Today Lovensky is enrolled at Florida Southwestern State College and is pursuing a degree in business management. Lovensky is an exemplary Boys & Girls Club Alumni. He plans to serve his community and Club after graduation.

“I want to show children that no matter where you came from, you can achieve the great things through hard work and perseverance.”
