Title: Program Director, Bolch Campus

Salary Range: 70,000-75,000
The Program Director serves as the program operations lead for Boys & Girls Club of Collier County Bolch Campus and its satellite sites in Immokalee. This position is responsible for the daily leadership, supervision, coordination, and evaluation of all Immokalee Club youth programming while ensuring the successful delivery of safe, high-quality, outcome-driven services for children and teens ages 5–18.
Working closely with the Area Director, the Program Director oversees program quality, daily operations, staff development, facility scheduling, member engagement, and continuous improvement across all Core Program Areas. The Program Director directly supervises the Academic Specialist, Health & Wellness Coordinator, Athletics Specialist, Teen Initiatives Manager, and assigned program staff. Through the supervision of the Academic Specialist, this position also provides operational oversight of the Rise & Shine Before-School Program implemented at multiple satellite sites throughout Immokalee.
This position works in close partnership with the Program Director, 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC), and with the Program Director, Nichols Campus in Naples. Together, the Program Directors provide coordinated leadership for youth programming across the community, collaborating on staff development, program quality, professional learning, operational planning, family engagement, safety, special events, and organizational initiatives. While each position maintains responsibility for its respective programs, both roles share a commitment to ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for youth, families, and staff across all operations.

Education & Experience
- Degree in Education, Youth Development, Recreation, Human Services, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred; AND
- Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in youth development, education, recreation, nonprofit management, or a related field; AND
- Three (3) or more years of supervisory or management experience with responsibility for leading staff, coordinating operations, and implementing high-quality programs: OR
- An equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and demonstrated leadership in youth development, education, recreation, nonprofit management, or a related field will be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience managing multiple programs, departments, or teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Boys & Girls Clubs or other youth-serving organizations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of positive youth development principles and evidence-based programming.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple teams while balancing competing operational priorities.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and frontline staff.
- Experience using data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and operational decision-making.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with youth, families, staff, schools, volunteers, and community partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and organizational data management systems.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to meet the organization’s insurance requirements for operating Club vehicles.
- Successful completion of all required background screenings in accordance with organizational, state, and federal requirements.
Leadership and Program Management
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for all youth programming delivered at the Bolch Campus at its satellite sites.
- Direct the implementation of high-quality programming across all Core Program Areas, ensuring consistency with organizational standards and strategic priorities.
- Coordinate daily schedules, room assignments, staff deployment, member movement, and facility utilization to maximize efficiency and member engagement.
- Manage daily operations supporting youth through after-school, summer, school break, and special programming.
- Collaborate with the Area Director to establish annual program goals, operational priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the other Program Directors, to coordinate staffing, professional development, program quality initiatives, special events, resource allocation, and organizational priorities across all Immokalee youth programs.
- Lead regular leadership meetings with department supervisors to coordinate programming, staffing, member engagement, and operational planning.
- Ensure seamless collaboration among academic, healthy lifestyles, athletics, recreation, arts, teen services, and youth development programming.
- Monitor participation, enrollment, attendance, member retention, and program utilization.
- Coordinate special events, family engagement activities, field trips, enrichment experiences, and campus-wide initiatives.
- Assist with annual program planning, calendar development, and implementation of new organizational initiatives.
- Monitor departmental expenditures and assist with budget management.
- Ensure appropriate inventories of supplies, equipment, and program resources are maintained.
Staff Leadership and Professional Development
Directly supervise:

Responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance management to supervisory and frontline staff.
- Conduct regular supervisory meetings, classroom observations, and annual performance evaluations.
- Support department leaders in developing effective staffing plans and work schedules.
- Collaborate with supervisors to identify professional development opportunities for staff.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and retaining high-quality employees.
- Foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture built on accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all staff maintain required certifications, training, and compliance documentation.
- Promote employee engagement and leadership development throughout the program department.
Program Quality and Member Experience
- Ensure all departments deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate, evidence-based programming.
- Monitor program implementation to ensure alignment with organizational quality standards and expected youth outcomes.
- Review participation, attendance, assessment, and performance data to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Work collaboratively with department leaders to develop action plans that strengthen program quality and member engagement.
- Promote positive youth development practices that encourage leadership, character development, academic success, healthy lifestyles, and workforce readiness.
- Ensure members experience a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment.
- Support implementation of the Rise & Shine Before-School Program through supervision and collaboration with the Academic Specialist.
- Encourage innovation and continuous improvement across all program areas.
Operations, Compliance, and Administration
- Ensure compliance with all Boys & Girls Club policies, licensing requirements, grant requirements, and organizational procedures.
- Oversee accurate attendance, participation, incident reporting, and operational documentation.
- Review departmental reports and operational metrics to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Monitor program performance using established key performance indicators.
- Conduct preliminary investigations and follow-up regarding incidents, accidents, behavioral concerns, and operational issues.
- Coordinate campus-wide safety procedures and emergency preparedness activities.
- Ensure all program spaces remain safe, organized, properly equipped, and ready for daily operations.
- Coordinate transportation logistics with transportation personnel to support member arrival, dismissal, and field experiences.
- Support organizational accreditation, quality assessments, audits, and continuous improvement efforts.
Community Engagement
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with members, families, schools, volunteers, community organizations, and partner agencies.
- Support member recruitment, enrollment, attendance, and retention initiatives.
- Participate in community outreach activities that promote Club services and organizational visibility.
- Collaborate with school administrators and community partners to strengthen youth programming.
- Support family engagement opportunities including showcases, meetings, celebrations, and community events.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain daily communication with the Area Director regarding operational priorities, staffing, member services, and program performance.
- Support organizational strategic initiatives and campus expansion efforts.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, respect, equity, and belonging throughout the Club.
- Model professionalism, integrity, accountability, and servant leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Area Director, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, and/or CEO.
