Ronald McNeill

Interim President and CEO

Ronald McNeill has fifteen years of experience with Boys & Girls Clubs serving in several positions related to advocacy, fundraising, operations, and nonprofit administration.  Prior to becoming the Interim President & CEO, he served as Chief Development Officer for Boys & Girls Club of Collier County (BGCCC) overseeing resource development, public affairs, and marketing initiatives for the organization which serves nearly 3,500 youth during out-of-school time.  Prior to joining the BGCCC team, Ronald served as Director of Government Relations for Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) developing federal and state government funding partnerships and customizing public policy strategies for BGCA’s State Alliances across the southeast region.  Ronald also served as Executive Director of the Independent College Fund of North Carolina (ICFNC) managing a campaign to support student scholarships and enrichment programs at the 36 independent colleges and universities throughout the state. 

During his years of working in the nonprofit, higher education, and government sectors, he has maintained strategic involvement with several professional associations with a national platform including the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA); the Council for Advancement and Support Education (CASE), and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).  He is an alumnae of Leadership North Carolina and has received numerous recognitions through his professional development experiences. 

Ronald holds a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University and a Master of Public Administration degree from North Carolina Central University.  He and his wife, Nicole are proud parents of two daughters, Ashely and Mackayla.
